Drawing

Drawing allows for precise input on one or more parts of an image:

Settings

• Image: initiates the image upload (double-click within the pre-identified section)

• Legend: initiates the upload of the legend that will appear below the drawing (double-click within the pre-identified section)

• Show legend during editing, in visual mode, and on print: not available

• Display percentage during data entry: not available

• Lines appear in the foreground: not available

Specifics

• Supported image types: JPEG and PNG

• Recommended image size: Maximum 2 MB

• By default, the image is minimized to 60% of its original size on screen, and displayed at 100% when the user selects it for data entry

• If no print size setting is defined, the image will be printed at its original size

Colors and Patterns

Allows defining the colors that can be used on the image.

1. Click the “Add a color” button

2. Enter the title that will be visible to the user

3. Click the color rectangle to define and adjust the color

Add a Pattern

The user must first have line pattern templates saved on their workstation.

This feature allows loading a fill pattern that was previously added to the pattern library (JPEG or PNG format). Refer to the Patterns section.

1. Click the “Add a model” button

2. Select the image and confirm

Default Configuration

Selection from the dropdown menus for the color (lines) and the fill type that will be preset for the user when they start drawing.
