Reusing an Existing Observation (cross-referencing)
To optimize work and avoid duplicates, a previously created list can be reused in the same or in another form. The copied observation’s identifier number will be updated upon saving.
1.Open the Observation Library
2.Search for the list by ID number or name
3.Select “Add as new item”
Select the placement section within the form structure
Click “Paste item”
Note: If the copied observation is a list, any changes to its values will affect all source lists.
A unique identifier allows the data entered in one form to be imported into another form by the same or a different user. Depending on the assessment context, the data can be retained, enhanced, or deleted. The original data in the source form will remain unchanged.
To reuse an observation for import, it must have the same unique identifier and the same configuration.
Upon publication, if a modification is made to a cross-referenced observation, it will affect all forms in which it appears.
