The Domain refers to a concept used to group certain professions to simplify consultation.
The Profession refers to the job title of the professional.
The Profile groups a set of permissions assigned to a profession.
A Permission defines the various access rights granted to a practitioner based on their needs.
Professional Domain configuration
- Navigate to the Professional Domain section.
- Click on "Add an element" (+).
- Enter the name of the professional domain (English translation is optional).
- Evolution Note Enabled: Activates the creation of an evolution note for the professions in this domain.
- Enter the name of the evolution note.
- Check the box if the note should be linked to the contingency plan (requires configuration by institution).
- Check the box if the professional domain is required in the process of a professional request (see the Professional Request section).
- Add the archive code for the clinical system, if applicable.
- Save.
Deleting a Professional Domain
A professional domain can only be deleted if no professions are associated with it:
- Click on the domain you wish to delete.
- Click on the trash icon.
Note: Ensure all associated professions are unlinked or reassigned before attempting to delete the domain.
Profession configuration
Creating a Profession
- Navigate to the Professions section.
- Click on the "+" button.
- Fill in the activation date and, at a minimum, the mandatory fields marked with an asterisk in the identification card.
- Code: This will not be visible to the user. Create an identification code for the profession, which will appear on printed documents and be transmitted to archive systems for record classification (if required).
- Profession with Assignment: Indicates that clinicians in this profession are assigned to workstations (attendance tracking).
- Using the "Edit" button, select the clinical profiles to associate permissions for this profession. These profiles must have been configured beforehand in the Profiles section.
- Save.
Note: Each profession can only be associated with one domain. For example, Nutritionist belongs to the Nutrition domain.
Deleting a Profession
- Navigate to the Profession you wish to delete.
- Click on the trash icon.
Note: Ensure that the profession is not actively associated with any domain, profiles, or ongoing processes before attempting to delete it.
Deactivating a Profession
- Navigate to the Profession you want to deactivate.
- Click on the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Select Deactivate.
Note: Deactivating a profession prevents its use while preserving its configuration and historical data for future reference.
Note: Please wait at least 1 day after deactivating a profession for it to no longer appear in the list.
You can view deactivated professions by clicking on "Show deactivated items."
You can hide the deactivated professions again by clicking on "Hide deactivated items."
Profile Configuration
- Navigate to the Profile section.
- Click on the "+" button.
- Enter the name of the profile.
- Using the "Add" button, select the permissions to be assigned to the profile.
- Save.
Note: Permissions must be configured beforehand to be available for selection when creating the profile.
Note: When the cursor is hovered over the (i) icon, the information for the permission will be displayed on the screen.
Deleting a Profile
- Navigate to the Profile you wish to delete.
- Click on the trash icon.
Note: Ensure that the profile is not in use or assigned to any active users before deleting it.
